Cerritos College Water Polo (2012): Named the team’s Most Improved Player… Appeared in 24 games and scored 28 goals with 15 assists and 16 steals… Posted a season-high seven goals against Chaffey College while he had four goals against Los Angeles Trade-Tech College… Had two goals and a season-high three steals against El Camino College and recorded a season-high three assists against Santa Ana College… Finished with three goals and three steals against Salem International (WV) University and had three goals against Rockford (MI)… Scored twice and assisted on two others against Cal Tech and also had a pair of steals against San Diego Mesa College and Santa Monica College…..

University of Arizona: Attended the school, but did not play water polo…..

Kennedy HS: While on the swimming team, he was a four-year CIF qualifier and helped the team, come in second place two years in a row… Was an All-CIF selection as a senior and a three-time 1st Team all-league pick…Named their captain two years in a row… Voted the team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior after earning 1st Team All-CIF and 1st Team All-Empire League honors… Selected the team’s captain two years in a row and earned their Defensive MVP award as a junior… Team won the league championship his sophomore season…..

Personal: Likes to play basketball in his spare time… Is the older brother of Joseph (18), who was a red-shirt on the wate rpolo team last season, while he has another sibling – Channon (15)… Nicknamed “Lightning”… Is the son of Wes and Cheyenne Owens… Born in La Palma, CA on April 29, 1993…..
